Recent Perfume Win

Hey guy's! Long time no see! Sorry for no posting for about a month is it? Seem's like it anyway, I just haven't felt inspired to blog lately, and I'm not gonna force myself too. So anyway, I just wanted to tell you lot about a recent giveaway I won hosted on The Sunday Girl, (go check her out) but the prize was given to me by a Perfume company by the  name of Harvey Prince. I've never heard of them, before, but I'm very impressed by what I got. Let me show you.
Clockwise to Anti Clockwise: Ageless Eau De Parfum 8.8ml, Yogini Sample, Eau Flirt Sample. I only expected the Full Size Ageless, but I was over the moon when I realized I got 2 other samples too!

Ageless Eau De Parfum 8.8ml - My initial thought's on the perfume when I received it that it's very fruity and girly, and that was it. Then I smelled it again, and now I can't stop smelling it! To me it smell's very melony. This is a new favorite of mine and it's equal to my L.I.L.Y Perfume at the moment. It has Notes of; Pink Grapefruit, Pineapple, Mango, Apple, Leafy Green and Pomegranate. Can't stress enough how much I love this perfume. Link

Yogini Sample- I think this sample is 3ml, hard to tell, would have been good if it said! This scent is quite strong but very subtle at the same time. I actually don't wear perfume's like this normally, as in if I saw this in a shop and tested it, I wouldn't buy it for myself because it isn't me. I really love it though. 'Experience the purifying powers of sandalwood, the age-defying glow of grapefruit, and the sensual warmth of Egyptian myrrh.' Link

Eau Flirt Sample - I've never smelled a perfume like this before. It says it has notes of pumpkin but it smells quite citrrusy and lemony, very fresh. Not much to say really on this perfume as haven't used it as much as the other too. The only thing I dislike about this perfume is that it doesn't have a pump dispenser, this one has a plastic cap on and you pull it off to get the scent.
Link

I would just like to say another thanks to Harvey Prince for sending me the goodies and The Sunday Girl for helping me win them! I couldn't be more happy with them!
Have you tried any Harvey Prince Perfume Scent's? Which ones?
Later, Jade xox

My Eyeshadow Collection: Part 1

Another collection blog post, as I love writing them as much as I love reading them myself, today its eye-shadows! Now I don't have as many as some people would day, but I suppose it'sis quite a few eye-shadows really! I have done it in two parts only because I don't want you to have photo overload! Lets get on with the post!
Contents Clockwise: Colour-works Colour Palette, MUA Professional Range Heaven & Earth Palette, All about Eyes Trio.
Contents Clockwise; Colour Eye-shadow Pallete, Ruby Hammer Color Palette, MUA Single Eyeshadow Shade 2 Pearl, Rimmel London Color Rush Eye-shadow in 080 Glitzed, Collction 2000 Intense Trio in 12 Fusion, No7 Eye-shadow in 55 Wheatsheaf, MUA Trio Eye shadows in Pink Sorbet.

MUA Pro Heaven and Earth Palette- Sorry for the stock photos, I took the swatches ages ago, and really cant be bothered to get my camera out and take them. The fact that I cant do that on this laptop is also a problem. You get the gist though, packaging is simple and transparent so the eye-shadow's are easy to spot and easily recognised. If I say so myself, this is a lovely palette, and they are good for the price, but they do work much  MUCH better with a primer. When you first have this palette, the eye shadows will need getting used too, as the formula when you use them, is different to any I've used before. These are available from Superdrug and MUA store for £4.

Swatches; First six are top row, last six are bottom row. My favour ites are Number 1, a lovely white creamy colour, perfect for highlighting, and Number 9 a lovely pale shimmery brown almost gold colour, I use this on my lid for full colour mostly.

Colour-works Colour Palette- Cant find a picture at all for this so Im really sorry, but you can look at the picture at the top. Its the one next to my MUA Palette. I haven't actually used this yet as Im trying to use up some of my older eye shadows, but will get round to using it. The pigmentation is great though, there really creamy and most of them are pearl, but even the matte ones are brilliant. This palette also contains Lip-glosses and Blush/Bronzer but Im not going to go into those. I actually got this at Christmas, so I dont know if this is still available , but I know its from  Superdrug.

All About Eyes Eye Shadow Collection- Sorry again about no photos for this one, but I actually got these eye shadows from Mizz magazine, so there are no images available. The palette consists of three (basic) colours; a light shimmery pale pink, a neutral matte brown, a light turquoise aqua. I get the most use out of the pink and brown as those come up fairly pale on the skin. I actually dont think I've used the Turquoise as I dont really like blue on my eyes. For a magazine freebie they are actually good in some forms. As I said there not there too buy because there from a Magazine.

There is  the first part of My Eye-shadow Collection, I hope you enjoyed it, and stay tuned for     Part 2!xoxo Jade xoxo

NOTD

Hey, just a quick post today, I wanted to show you what I've had on my nails these past few days, and how the colors in the glitter look when it catches the light. Sorry the photos are really bad and blurry, its the only way I could really show you my nails, and yes they look terrible, again sorry.

Products used : 17 Nail Polish Black, Barry M Nail Paint in Silver Glitter and Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch. All are available to buy via Superdrug or Boots.
1.First I apply 2 coats of 17 Black, as its fully opaque in 2, with 1 it looks more on the grey scale.
2. Then 1 thin coat of Barry M Silver Glitter as you don't want it to be too thick on your nails with  all the polish.
3. After that's dried I apply 2 coats of the Miss Sporty Polish, at different stages though. You can add as many coats of this as you may like, depending on how glittery you would like it to be. Might I say, its better to dab the polish on rather than applying as normal, as I find the glitter goes on more through.
4. Wait for them to dry and there, you are done. Enjoy your Starry Night (inspired) nails.

Colour's that reflect of the glitter from the light, so pretty!

I would love to do more NOTD posts, but my nails are in a horrible state and are really small, as I bite them quite a lot. I use Miss Sporty Anti Bite Treatment, but that doesn't seem to work, any suggestions?
What are your fave nail colors?

Clothes & Beauty Small Haul!

Hey lovelies! I went shopping on Friday just gone, and bought a couple of things and I thought I would share them with you. So here we go!

New Look Peach Shorts Highwaisted £12.99 - I originally wanted a Blue Demin Version of these from the woman's section but couldn't find them, so when I saw these ones in the Generation section for only £13's, I had to buy them! I love these as they would be perfect for summer on lazy days, and the colour is beautiful too! Also in Newlook there is a top with a Cookie Monster on  ( Sesame Street) that would go with it, and I might by that when I have more money, because Im a bit short on money at the moment!:(
Natural Collection Lip gloss in Fondant, Lipstick in Sandcastle, Pressed Powder in Neutral-  Now everything if im not wrong in Boots, is on a 3 for 2 offer, and considering Natural Collection is so good for the price, and good quality ( most of it) I thought I might as well buy a couple of things. Im loving my peaches at the moment, so when I saw this lip gloss I had to pick it up! The lipstick is a similar colour if you can see below, swatches, and its a my lips but better colour! Also, the powder is just a nessesity, as I needed a new one, the Rimmel London one a bought a while back never gets used as I really prefer this one to it.

Foundation Brush £1 Savers- I really only bought this to try out as I've never had  foundation brush before, and for a £1 I just wanted to see if it was any good. Its not the best to be honest as, it leaves marks and streaks on my cheeks where I've rubbed it in. Not good:( Its really good for the money though, and will get used on some days.
Swatches left to right: Lipstick in Sandcastle, Lip gloss in Fondant, Pressed Powder in Neutral.
Miss Sporty Nail Polishes - Now some of the things in Superdrug is also on 3 for 2, and I've been  meaning to try these for a while now, so I picked some up. I actually heard about these from Louise and liked the look of them. Now only 1 is for me, one of the glitter ones, because the other two are for my friend, its her birthday next Monday. I thought she might like them, so I got them. There opaque in one coat as you can see by the swatches.

What have you bought in Boots or Superdrug with the 3 for 2 offer?
Id be interested to know!

March/April Empties

Hey lovelies!
Today im going to share with you products I have finished on the March/Start of April Months, and tell you what I think and about repurchase or not. Okay lets get started!:)

John-sons Baby Skincare wipes in Extra Protection- I would purchase this again as I use it nightly to remove the last scrapes of makeup and to refresh my skin in the morning! Some face wipes tend to dry my skin out and make it peel but this one doesn't, they smells nice too!
Dove Deodorants in Grape Fruit +Lemon Grass, and Original-  In terms of smell I prefer the Grapefruit one as Im a fan, and it seems in my eyes that this one works better for me, I Dont know if this just is me but?:) They work considerably well, cant really say much else as it is only deodorants! I think you can tell I like products that smell nice!
Natural Collection Pressed Powder in Warm- Iv'e been wanting to use this up for ages now as it really isn't my skin tone colour. Dont get me wrong its a excellent product but what's the use in a pressed powder when its the wrong shade? I have just bee using this on days when I haven't been out and just stopped at home. I have the other colour neutral and that seems to be my colour, so at least I know which one to pick now! The powder defiantly lasts!
Left to right: MUA Nail Varnish in Shade 2 and 5 or 7, and Collection 2000 Hot Looks Nail Polish in Fruit Salad and Button Moon- The MUA are really nice colours, but I Dont like the way the brush is on the varnish, I find it hard to apply with it. It is opaque in nearly one coat though which is good, but I add two for luck. Wont be a repurchase for me though! Collection 2000 Nail Polishes are amazing, they are opaque in one coat and the colours are really lovely and pastely bright! I like the fact that they are fast drying too! Fruit Salad used to be one of my fave's but Im not too keen on it as much now, but I love Button Moon so I shall be repurchasing that!

Hope you have enjoyed this post, and keep tuned for more! Jade! xoxox
